This is the forum continuation thread for the Syma X11 Hornet Quadcopter review posted at: http://wp.me/p25InU-fjL
Hello, Does anyone know what is the payload of this quadcopter? Is there a way to hack it and control the propellers with another external device? Thanks, Fabio
I wouldn't say it has any payload other than the battery and the prop guards. Sure, you could throw a bit more weight on there, but the motors would burn out quicker and flight times would be much shorter. If I had to guess it might handle 20 grams more, etc.
After a couple of hours of web research, I thought I'd register here to find some answers. My x11 is drifting forward and left. The manual attempts to explain how to fine tune and I just don't understand their English. Could someone explain please? I tried resetting the gyros. Tried firing up on various flat surfaces and it continues to drift. Flying indoors with no wind and lots of room. Just trying to learn the controls when I have to compensate for the drifting is proving difficult. TIA.
