I recently bought a GoPro Karma drone. After some research, it looks like my best choice will be to get the Part 107 license for flying drones. In the meantime, I'd like to be able to find a place to get the hang of my drone. Does anyone know of any areas near or around Los Angeles where I can do this? Thanks in advance.
What do you think you need a license for ? This being your first drone. If you live in SoCal. Then there should be plenty of hills around you somewhere. I live in Simi Valley and that where I take my drones. Or to the beach. You'll see others with there drones there too. I try to stay away from the beach flyers. But you may like them.
