All I am looking for opinions on which quad is best for the money with ease to fly for a beginner. I am looking between the jjrc h12, jjrc h16, and Syma x5sc with headless mode. Please let me know which one is best for the money or if there is something better out there. I am looking for something easy to fly with just a decent camera and can fly in mild wind.

I don't think there is a big difference between these toy quadcopters. I have flown a number of them and they all fly well. The motors will not last long - you will have to replace them after 10-20 flights in most toy quadcopters.

So the best one is the one where you can find parts, extra batteries, etc.

When it comes to the first quad for a beginner, the most important thing is just to "do it" and start flying. You will likely lose or crash the toy model before too long but you will learn a lot.
