I am about to build a quad from parts i saw in ebay. I am thinking to get these: 1. flight controller, power supply module, telemetry, gps ( http://www.ebay.com/itm/apm-v2-8-0-ardupilot-uav-flight-controller-with-neo-6m-gps-pm-915mhz-3dr/261695385249?hash=item3cee42aea1 ) 2. motors and ESCs ( http://www.ebay.com/itm/4x-sunnysky-x2212-10-1250kv-brushless-motor-30a-esc-for-rc-multirotor-copter/171673339758?hash=item27f887476e ) 3. Alien 450 frame I am not sure which transmitter to get. I am between these ones 1. ( http://www.ebay.com/itm/turnigy-9x-9ch-transmitter-w-module-8ch-receiver-mode-2-v2-firmware/151676792881?hash=item2350a43031 ) 2. ( http://www.ebay.com/itm/walkera-devo-7-2-4g-7ch-lcd-screen-radio-system-transmitter-for-helicopter-quad/301218666998?hash=item46220819f6 + http://www.ebay.com/itm/walkera-original-rx701-2-4ghz-7ch-receiver-walkera-devo-transmitter-w-tracking/281494015071?hash=item418a59cc5f ) Finally, i have no clue on what lipo i should get.
That Flight conroller is not a 3D Robotics APM, it is a knock off and I would not buy it. Real Ones come from here https://store.3drobotics.com/products/apm-2-dot-6-plus-assembled-set-side-entry?taxon_id=34 The motors, I have never heard of them.........but for that price what the heck Alien frame is cool......good choice http://www.ebay.com/itm/turnigy-9x-9ch-transmitter-w-module-8ch-receiver-mode-2-v2-firmware/151676792881?hash=item2350a43031 is the one, they get good reviews for the most part.
I have also been suggested this transmitter ( http://www.ebay.com/itm/flysky-fs-th9x-b-2-4g-9ch-rc-radio-control-transmitter-receiver-system-tx-rx/231024995719?hash=item35ca29ad87 ) I wouldn't bother buy a non-authentic right now. It's my first quad project, so I suppose it's going to get a lot of harm. At first I wanted to use a naza m-lite, but I have no experience, so I decided to use better electronics on my later projects. Right now I only care for the parts to adapt with each-other. Do you have any other suggestion for the motors? Thank you for your fast reply.
I like Hacker UAV series motors http://www.hacker-motor-shop.com/e-vendo.php?shop=hacker_e&SessionId=&a=catalog&t=6547&c=6550&p=6550 Expensive, but I have never had one fail yet. some of my birds have over 1000 flights on them. On that radio.......from the ebay ad. When I read stuff like the below I just walk away " Use a linear spread of fine paragraph by an excess antenna" LOL Digital control Super active and passive anti-jamming capabilities. Very low power consumption. High receiving sensitivity. 8 model memory, digital control. EPCM & PPM selectable tramitter. Multi-data computerized display (128 * 64 LCD). Use a linear spread of fine paragraph by an excess antenna. It covers the entire band width of the antenna bandwidth range. High quality and stability.
