I am using the phantom, and I also have the experience to fly. But I don’t have any idea about FPV. Should I buy or not?

You could buy the new DJI Goggles if they are compatible with your machines - to get a view of the world through googles.

Or, you could try a low cost smaller FPV type machine- you have to decide whether you want to use googles (headgear) or a screen to do the FPV. In other words, your Phantom is already doing FPV in a sense (you see what the camera sees).

But if you want to really speed around obstacles and learn manual control, try one of the FPV units. There are so many of them, but some of the eachine units are OK.

Many do require some work on your part for the final setup - adjusting the flight controller, sticks, etc.

I think you should! If you have extra $500then why not? FPV will give you a new experience flying your drone. I once tested and I really like it. The only thing which stops me is their cost))
