Any suggestions for a multi-battery charger for the Hubsan Quads h501s batteries? Would like to charge two or more batteries at the same time. The single charger that came in the package is slow. Is there anything under $50 bucks that will do the job quickly?
There are many 4 button chargers out there that will work, the problem is getting the proper connectors. Something like this, https://www.ebay.com/itm/IMAX-B6AC-B6-RC-Lipo-NiMH-Battery-Charger-Balance-Discharger-LCD-Screen-US-Plug-/163183505264 And this work, but I've seen none with your connector. https://www.ebay.com/itm/2-6S-Charging-Adapter-Board-XT60-Lipo-Parallel-Charger-Balance-XT60-Connects-NEW/282990483812?epid=4020057896&hash=item41e38c1964:g:aVYAAOSwmGZbKgO9 Using one of these with the charger I linked will allow you to charge one battery quickly. https://www.ebay.com/itm/EC2-TO-BANANA-PLUG-BATTERY-CHARGE-CABLE-CONNECTOR-For-Hubsan-H501S-X4-FT19/272779382111?hash=item3f82eb0d5f:g:MjsAAOSwqk1Zedsg It's an EC2 connector so start searching.
Thanks for your reply. I purchased a Youcute duel charger that is supposed to charge two 2S batteries and it took about 6 hours to charge the two 2700 mah batteries.
Anytime you charge through the balance port it will be slow, limited mainly due to the thin wires. Is this it? https://www.amazon.com/YouCute-700mAh-Battery-Charger-quadcopter/dp/B013HHJATE It claims a 1A output, if charging 2 batteries that's 0.5A each. With a hobby type charger you could charge yours at ~ 2.5A. The one I linked claims 5.0A out. So 2 batts = 2.5A each, even charging 3 batts = ~1.7A each. Good luck.
Yes that is it. I decided to go ahead and buy an IMAX b6 v2 AC charger with a parallel board and ec2 connectors to xt60 connecters.
