Looking for somewhere to spend my money that answers the phone

    after stick time with smaller ones, i am ready to purchase a larger more sophisticated quad. I would like to begin a relationship with a "Dealer" (hopefully in the southeast usa) that actually interacts with their customers by answering the telephone and addressing technical questions. i am willing to pay higher prices... but if dealer will not answer phone, i may as well go direct to chinese manufacturer.... any recommendations?

    Shame - they always claimed they did...in their posts over on R/C groups.

    Honestly - from what I have heard and read, there is little reason for you to hope you will get true phone support and ordering from even the smaller businesses. People have complained for years about Witespy (a one-man biz with a good reputation)......

    The biz is exploding so quickly that it seems no one can keep up.

    While I might support a friendly local hobby shop (we have none) and also like to use massiveRC (they do answer phone, email and PMs, but don't yet carry the bigger quads except Eye One), I otherwise have no problem ordering from Amazon or other vendors - even China. But even there you want to make sure the vendor is well known for their support (by email, etc.).
