Hi I live at the fringe of restricted flight space for Washington dc. I live in Maryland. I bought a Spark. I can't even fly it in my house. Outside of recreational I would like to use the Spark to look at my roof. The Spark won't start up with the controller and the phone app says restricted area and wont start either had to drive to a park to use the Spark. so
    1. is there a way to fly the Spark in the restricted
    2. is the whole airspace restricted , or is there an acceptable ceiling for flight
    3. what is the consequences of flying a drone in a restricted area ?

If you're in a restricted area, you could go to flysafe@dji.com and have it unlocked. But being close to D.C., it's probably a designated restricted area due to national security, in which case there's not much you can do.
