    Hi everyone !

I'm new in this forum, and I came here to ask you some questions about my build. I didn't find a lot of relevant post about DIY F330 drone build, that's why I'm creating a new one.

First of all, I'm building a drone just out of curiosity, for fun.

I decided to take the F330 frame because of its total weight, that is less than its brother the F450.

For the electronics, this is my build (if you have suggestion, please let me know) :

    ESC : 4X racestar RS20A
    MOTORS : 4X racestar racing edition 2205 BR2205 2600KV 2-4S
    FC : F3 Flight Controller Acro 6DOF/deluxe 10 DOF
PROPELLER : 8045 3 Leaf Blade Propeller ABS CW/CCW For Quadcopter 330 Frame Kit

I don't know yet what battery I should buy, neither for the fpv setup.

I bough the flysky FS-i6S transmitter with the eachine EV800 FPV GOOGLES.

As I said before, I'm a newbie, so any advice would be great ! I tried to take the best part, but I'm sure I could improve my build to reach the best price/quality.

Also, I absolutely want an FPV setup but there are so many fpv camera on the market that I don't know what to buy. Can I also have help on this side please :p ?

Thank you very much for your help !

    Happy flight !

Those high KV/RPM motors are a poor choice for a quad your size. If you look at the Motor Performance Data you'll note they are made for 4045 (4" or 5") props. You won't be able to spin 8045 3 Leaf Blade Propellers at that high 2600KV, you will burn out the motors. If we look at 3S battery/4045 (11.1V) we see it's pulling 18.5A @ 530 grams of thrust and 2.6 efficiency.

These would be a little better choice.

Although heavier we see with that with 8045 props the thrust is about the same @ 535 grams, but the amp draw is only 8.1 A which makes them much more efficient @ 5.9. This translates to a cooler running motor and longer flight times.

It's a shame the 1045 (10") props won't fit your frame as the trust increases a lot.

    There is also this option.

I'm estimating that with an 8045 this should get ~ 650 grams of thrust @ 19A, but that is pushing the ESC limits. You will need DJI style props.

The problem is that the F330 frame limits the prop size.
