I received a Holystone HS200 for Christmas and I've taken it out today to give it a go. I followed the instructions to the letter and when I press the take-off button, my drone flies upwards rather than hovering as it apparently should. Pressing down on the controller has no effect and the only way to bring it back to Earth is to press the emergency off button which sends it free-falling to the ground. Having tried this a couple of times, one of the protective plastic parts underneath has now snapped. It doesn't look essential for flight but I don't really want to send it up again in case it comes back down hard on the same spot. Can anyone suggest why it would just be going upwards?
Yeah I really persevered with it but after a month of trying, I've never felt like I've had any real control over it so I've ordered it returned now. Thanks anyway
You don't have to return it, get a hold of Holystone first, they will replace it and let you keep the bad one. It would help if you gave your story as a review. Then they will jump.
