Can you use a DJI Phantom signal booster for other drones?

There is this 2.4G signal booster for transmitters on ebay:

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/2-4G-Signal-Booster-Amplifier-For-DJI-Phantom-Transmitter-FPV-Extend-Range-/361975816777?epid=575501849&hash=item544770a249:g:cjwAAOSwK6RZEq37

My question is if I can use this booster on other drones. I specifically have a MJX Bugs 3 and plan to get a Yuneec typhoon very soon. I do not see why the booster wouldn't work on other drones but I just want to make sure since the seller labels it as a product for DJI Phantom.
    Thank you in advance!

Should work for any 2.4Ghz application. That said I don't like the way it mounts sitting way up top like that with the stacked connectors, and with antenna installed (never power up the unit without the antenna) there is a lot of leverage on all the bottom connectors. Looks like it could easily break off while flying. Some sort of mod/bracket to support the stack is in order.

You will also need to power it with 5V. You could probably use a 5V UBEC like this.

You will also need to get a small 2S battery to connect it to.

What do you think of something like these? At least they are easy to get on and off without any tools or modifications...

People have been making those passive reflectors themselves, with cardboard, foil etc. for years. Those should help.
