    Hello,

I am trying to figure out a way to capture the FPV stream (possibly of any quadrotor model with embedded camera) and display it on my computer. Also, send commands from the computer to the quadrotor.

For example. Let's say I buy a Walkera Ladybird or Hubsan Quads H107D. Would it be possible to display the FPV on my computer and then send commands back to the quadrotor?

I'm asking this because I'd like to do some processing on the video stream and I need a cheap solution. The tests I am going to do might damage the quadrotor and I'll need to replace it often. Also I have to test it indoor and I don't have room for a big quadrotor.

    Thanks.

Well, it's certainly possible - but not easy.
What you need to do is look for small quadcopters powered by well known (usually open source) Flight Controllers...which then have both telemetry and OSD capabilities.

It's not really our speciality at this site as we deal with mostly beginners and intermediate flyers -but if you dig around you will likely be able to find something. If I were you I would start by looking into APM and asking the experts at this site:

    Thank you for the reply.

I will then try on diydrones.com.
