P2V+ iPhone display questions

    Hi guys. In test flying my new P2V+ I've noticed two problems which possibly you can help me with regarding the iPhone app and display. First, the FPV is oriented correctly while flying, but when I tilt the controller upward, the gimbal points the camera downward - and vice versa. I can't just flip the iPhone-4 around because the FPV is then upside down. The phone does flip regular pictures and video, so the "Portrait Orientation Lock" is set to off. I can't find any settings in the DJI Vision app that allows you to flip the image. Has anyone else experienced that problem?

    Also, I have the screen brightness turned up to max (auto brightness is off) and still find it difficult to see the screen in the daylight. I've even constructed a white cardboard shade box around the phone which somewhat improves the situation, but it isn't great. Has anyone a tip on dealing with this? Wearing normal sunglasses just makes it worse. Maybe those amber-type sunglasses would be better? Thanks.

    The only comment I have is that FPV isn't really the right way to describe the P2V+
    It's designed for LOS work - that is, you look at the quad most all of the time. The Phone/Tablet is really for framing pics and photos, etc. - IMHO.

    I'm not sure about the DJI app and how it flips the screen image....

    Ok... After some experimenting today, I discovered that I needed to mount the iPhone 180 degrees to how I had been mounting it BEFORE ever turning anything on. The iPhone/camera tilt are now working in sync.

    But I have another issue. I've taken pictures and video and can clearly see them stored on the card via the app album. I can even play the videos. But when I put the card in the adapter and try to view/transfer them to my pc, Windows[ 7] Explorer says there are no files on the card. I'm wondering if the adapter is bad. I've also tried to transfer the files directly from the Phantom USB port to my PC (leaving the card in the Phantom), but the pc doesn't recognize the drone as a drive. I've downloaded and run the Phantom DJI WIN Driver Installer and hear the confirmation tone that the USB device (Phantom) is recognized when I plug in the USB cord, but it still doesn't show up in explorer on the pc. Any ideas? Thanks.

    I've never hooked the vision up direct to my computer - that's usually only for changing NAZA settings or upgrading, etc.

    I just use an SD adapter and plug it into the SD slot on my laptop (mac)...

    Yeah, I'd try another adapter, etc. -

    Thanks, webman. Turns out I had plugged it into the wrong drone port. I had assumed it was the port on the front of the Phantom when the correct port is at the rear of the gimbal base. It downloads great and is much more convenient than removing the SD card and using the card adapter each time (which still doesn't work for me).
