I always keep my eyes open for Motors and other items that will help improve my Multi-Rotors. I came across a motor manufactured by iFlight-rc.com called iPower iPM2212-920KV http://tinyurl.com/ov9sau6 iFlight sent me 4 motors and I decided to put them in the Phantom 1 and I think they look so cool with the white background of the Phantom, but besides that they are amazingly Smooth. And the power that I see as I am flying is far beyond the stock motors. You can watch the installation video if you like at: http://tinyurl.com/pgwta4m I posted a video of it completed and also flying. You will also see one of the worst mistakes I made when I go full throttle into a tree behind my house! http://tinyurl.com/qbddj2m I was trying to fly and record close to the ground at the same time and forgot my back yard was much higher! Good news is everything can be fixed. I ruined a motor on the Tarot gimbal $15 and one prop $5 but my Gps tracker came apart which I am glad it happened near my location. I have already made the changes and feel it will hold up to a similar crash. All the specs on these motors can be found at http://tinyurl.com/ov9sau6 NOTICE the Thrust 591g and Let me tell you, if there was anymore it would become a rocket. lol When I was done flying a few extremely hard flights I noticed just how cool these motors are running which is a great thing and much cooler than the phantom motors. they sound so smooth and almost a whisper at idle. I cannot recommend these any higher than suggesting if you want power, speed, and quality this would be my recommendation. For the price I don't believe there is anything better. I have not tested the T-motor but I cannot see how it can offer more than the ipower motor and these are Much lower in price. Grandpa Jake http://tinyurl.com/lhc6t7e
Do you know what the stock thrust is on the 2 series? Also, it sounds like this are just for the "2" series? That's what the sales page says, but it sounds like you put them in the Phantom 1?
